This year’s Exit Festival, being held at Petrovaradin Fortress, in Novi Sad, Serbia (between 10-14 July) will be brutal! For the fans of heavy metal and hardcore, you should look no further than Explosive Stage and Tesla Universe Stage.
Legendary Swiss thrashers Coroner will perform at Explosive stage on July 12th , for the very first time in Serbia! British hardcore/crossover thrash veterans The Exploited will once again storm the fortress but this time, at Tesla Universe Stage on July 13th. One of the greatest names added to the lineup surely is the legendary guitarist Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine) who will also be playing at Tesla Universe Stage on July 14th. One of the biggest surprises for this year’s line up is Cavalera (legendary Max and Igor Cavalera!) who will be playing on July 14th. Brazilian thrash metal gods will perform classic Sepultura songs, since they have recently re-released Morbid Visions, and Schizophrenia album! Another great reinforcement coming from Brazil are the infamous Ratos De Porrao, who will perform on July 13th at Explosive Stage. If you are a fan of death metal sound, you should definitely attend Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench! That’s right, the band’s original guitarist Martin Shirenc will definitely deliver the brutality you need for the night! If you are fan of hardcore, you should definitely check out The Casualties (July 11th), and Conflict (July 13th )

This year’s Main Stage is called Tesla Universe Stage, named after the infamous Serbian scientist and inventor, and creator of the modern world - Nikola Tesla (and here we are in 2024 tripping over cables even though he invented wireless technology like 100 years ago lol) .The fans of heavy metal and hardcore will be pleased to enjoy the performance of Replicunts and The Exploited (July 13th) while on the last day of the festival (July 14th) fans of heavy metal will headbang along with Cavalera, and Tom Morello .
The festival has a total of 40 stages, so you can enjoy pretty much any genre of music, from pop, hip hop, trap, techno, dubstep, and hardcore & heavy metal.
Exit Festival was founded in the year 2000. The festival won numerous prestigious awards such as: Best Major Festival award at the European Festivals Awards, for 2013 and 2017. the "Best European Festival" award at the UK Festival Awards in 2007, while in 2018 Regional Cooperation Council awarded EXIT Festival as Champion of Regional Cooperation for 2017.

Exit Festival is taking place at the infamous 18th century Petrovaradin Fortress, in Novi Sad. The fortress was built by the Austrian Empire in the period between 1692-1780. Petrovaradin Fortress was one of the most important fortresses of the Austrian Empire due to the constant wars with the Ottoman Empire.
