Minions! If you aren’t familiar with the Mailbox Assault concept, we want to make sure that the bands that contact us get some space on our website. And of course, the accent is put on underground acts from all over the world! Therefore, we’ll make sure to provide some brief info about the bands! It’s up to you to check them out! Here is the stuff that came to us through the e-mail lately.
Graveyard – The 6th Extinction (Prof Sny Records)
Oh boy! Graveyard is a New York-based band formed in 1991. They label themselves as “political death noise“. Expect the perfect mix of dirty-sounding fix of raw black metal, mixed with grindcore and death metal influences. The band’s latest album The 6th Extinction can be described as something between Captain Beefheart and Deathspell Omega. The band has also made a movie of the same name which can be found via their Facebook page. Their guitarist and vocalist Alex Bayrak was kind enough to send us a physical copy of their latest album! If you’re looking for something unusual and unpredictable with metal stamp on it, look no further than The 6th Extinction! This album will surely enter our list of the best metal albums of 2020! P.S. These guys predicted a lot of things that are going on around the world as we speak!

Bloody Sadism - Eloquent Atrocity (Base Records Production)
Bloody Sadism is a Slam/Grindcore/Brutal death metal one-man-band. The band is from Iran and was formed in 2014. Bloody Sadism have released their full-length debut album titled Eloquent Atrocty in 2019 via Base Record Productions. So if you’re looking for some brutal stuff, Bloody Sadism is the thing! Those gutturals are scary!

AlNamrood - Wala'at (Shaytan Productions)
AlNamrood is a Saudi Arabian black metal band. The band went completely underground since they had death threats coming from the Saudi Arabian authorities. According to the Encyclopaedia Metallum, the band’s name translates as „the non believer“. And you think your band is underground? LOL. Props to Al-Namrood for their courage! These guys are literally risking their lives to play metal! The band has 7 studio albums. They have released a new album titled Wala’ at in 2020 via Shaytan Productions. Their music is labeled as black/folk metal. And it’s pretty exotic!

Idolos - Ahi Cab (Anthrazit Records)
Idolos is an atmospheric black metal band. They have released their debut EP Ahi Cab in 2020 via Anthrazit Records. So, expect 22 minutes of high quality black metal! It sounds neat!

Svartedød - Ansikt (Black Promo Management)
Svartedød was formed in 2019. They label their music as “plague metal“. Pretty fitting name for the genre during these dark times! The band has members from Norway and Poland. They have just released a video for the song S.A.G.

Post Mortal Possession - Catacombs of Bedlam (Lord of the Sick Recordings)
Post Mortal Possession is a slam/death metal band from Pittsburgh formed in 2014. They have released 2 EPs – Possessing Eternity (2014) and Forest of the Damned (2016). Their full-length debut album Perpetual Descent was released in 2018. The band has just released their new video titled Labyrinth Within Lunacy. The band will release their 2nd studio album titled Catacombs of Bedlam via Lord of the Sick Recordings in 2020.

Arallu - En Olam (Satanath Records)
Arallu is an Israeli black metal band. They were formed in in 1997. Arallu was the ancient Mesopotamian underworld ruled by the goddess Ereshkigal and the god Nergal who judged whether the dead were worthy. Arallu have released their 7th studio album titled En Olam in 2019 via Satanath Records. Their music can be described as a perfect mix of black/death and thrash metal.

Zarraza - Rotten Remains
A thrashing groove metal assault coming from Kazakhstan! These guys are ripping it! The band has released one full-length album – Necroshiva and a couple of EPs: Bullets & Beliefs (2012), Cutting Meat. Fast & Loud (2013). Zarraza has released another EP titled Rotten Remains in 2019. The artwork says it all! What a find! The band has released a new video for the song “Bulldozer“. Check it out!
