Great news! A documentary Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story will be released in April 24th via MVD on DVD, Deluxe DVD, 4K and HD. Murder in the Front Row was directed by Adam Dubin who is known for Beastie Boys’ Fight for Your Right to Party and No Sleep ‘till Brooklyn. You can check out the bonus footage from the documentary via Rolling Stone magazine. The documentary got its name by Harald Oimoen and Brian Lew’s classic book Murder in the Front Row: Shots from the Bay Area Thrash Metal Epicentre, which again, got its named after a verse of iconic Exodus’ song Bonded By Blood.

Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story was promoted in many cinemas, music venues and film festivals. The documentary contains around 50 interviews with San Francisco Bay Area veterans such as Alex Skolnick and Chuck Billy of Testament, Charlie Benante of Anthrax, Tom Araya, Kerry King, Paul Bostaph and Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson of Megadeth, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich, Rob Trujillo of Metallica, Mark Osegueda of Death Angel, Phil Demmel and Rob Flynn of Vio-Lence, Larry LaLonde of Possessed, Gary Holt, Rick Hunolt and Tom Hunting of Exodus, Harald Oimoen (ex-D.R.I.) . The documentary is narrated by Brian Poshen.
