Wardruna to play in Belgrade, Serbia!
It’s about time! Legendary Norwegian Nordic Folk act Wardruna have announced their show in Belgrade, Serbia at Tašmajdan, on July 11th. The band will start their Nordic Night Open Air 2022 European tour. The show in Belgrade is organized by Charm Music Serbia. Tickets can be bought here: https://www.tickets.rs/program/wardruna-1109
People under the age of 23 can buy their tickets (seats) for 1800 RSD. Parter tickets are 3200 RSD.
Wardruna was formed in 2003 by by Einar Selvik(ex-Gorgoroth) along with Gaahl and Lindy Fay Hella. The band has released 5 studio albums. First 3 albums are based on Nordic Runes while the 4th one is about Odin from the Völuspá and other Norse sagas. The name Wardruna stands for “guardian of the secrets”.
In 2014, Wardruna did the soundtrack for the 2nd season of the HBO show Vikings along with Trevor Morris. Ghaal left Wardruna in 2015 on friendly terms.The band’s latest album – Kvitravn was released on January 22nd,
